The iPhone 3GS certainly has improved battery life. However, if you are a heavy user, then some extra juice is a welcome thing. The Mophie Juice Pack Air is available for all generations of the iPod touch and iPhone. In the video review below, I take a look at the version for the iPhone 3GS and 3G.

It is a cool case, because for me, it doesn't really matter how thick my iPhone is.
