Asus Eee PC 901 Video Review
Thursday, October 16, 2008
If you want a laptop (or should I say mini sized netbook) that is even smaller than the recently announced MacBook, then check this Asus Eee PC 901 out. Although it is not anywhere near as powerful as Apple's offering, it does give you access to a very very small and useful machine. Ideal as a 'take anywhere' and 'chuck in your bag' affair. Check out the video review below.

The eee PC has come a long way, I have the original 701 model which I carry in my backpack and hardly notice it is there because it is so small and light. This 901 machine looks like it has fixed the few snags with the 701 - i.e. tiny trackpad and single rocker mouse button that the 701 has. I use mine for BBC IPlayer, Google Reader, Youtube and general web surfing. I would recommend the Linux version because I think XP would be just too cumbersome on such a small machine. There is a rumor that Windows 7 will come out in a light weight version specifically for the eee next year but I will stick with Linux!
