PS3 Owners trade in for Wii

Reported over at Gigagamez, hungry for fun PS3 owners, who queued for hours to pick up their PS3, are now trading in their beloved consoles for a Nintendo Wii. The research, carried out on craigslist.org showed an astonishing 48 different PS3-for-Wii trades going on in San Francisco alone. My theory on this is the lack of good PS3 titles, coupled with so many reports of gamers having so much fun playing Wii Sports, Wii Play, Rayman, and of course Zelda.

At 4:51 am, Anonymous said...: I was gonna make a big rant about the difference between wii and ps3 but I'll just get to the chase since I own both (internet enabled) The wii I regret buying, I thought that the new resident evil game would be a trip but when you watch the interview with the lead designer and he says he dumbed it down for newbies to the franchise not to mention made it rail gun system is very dissapointing to fans of the series. What really made me mad is all this hype that was going on with manhunt 2 being completely redesigned for the wii, but when you play and its been censored to hell with their stupid killing scenes (wtf) and I think the ps2 version had better graphics. the controls are nasty and the games unbelievably linier. I got mad what do I do with this pos, the internet on it is like not really there and since nintendo pretty much frowns on online gaming so w/e. The ps3 however has beautiful graphics, mass storage, internet web browsing (my merc stealth keyboard and razer death adder mouse both work on it), a simple game store for add-ons, demos, full games, and videos theres even a option in settings to install your own operation system. I think the ps3 owner who trades in his system for a wii has to have too busy of a life for any real gaming and must have kids or somebody who doesnt know better that maybe would get more use out of kids system which it basically is. Anyway bottom line the ps3 delivers (almost replaces my computer, and its nice) and the wii leaves me begging for more graphics, content, random nobs to turn (joke) and real sense of a next gen system. I understand you can play any nintendo game on the machine but so can the ps3 (cept a few formats which I'm sure will be available in a couple patches) anyway if this gives you the feedback your looking for then I'm happy.
