So one prediction seems to have come to fruition with the announcement of movies available from the iTunes store from Walt Disney, Pixar, Touchstone, Miramax (please note these are all Disney owned). Good news this is for the US, for us in the UK we will have to wait until next year... this is a big shame, as a worldwide rollout would be the ace in the pack.
It seems at this stage we will not see a new Video iPod and I suspect this will not come until suitable content is available worldwide, as this would effect sales.
